The outdoor firepit is perfect for enjoying those cold winter nights under the stars and the veranda is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee whilst taking in the views.
Located 3.5 hours from Sydney with a beautiful 30 minute drive East of Scone, this cottage is the perfect weekend getaway. With an abundance of unique attractions close by including award winning restaurant The Cottage, boutique country stores and of course our little local pubs only a 10 minute drive away.
Coquun Cottage has a minimum 2 nights stay & is $600.00 per night.

What can I say - I thought I’d died and gone to heaven! We just loved our time here and wished we had booked 3 instead of 2 nights. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, had everything available for a perfect country retreat. Annie is a wonderful host and a joy to meet. We will definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful stay at Coquun Cottage. This home is absolutely beautiful and you could feel the warmth throughout every room. Fresh cut flowers, a thoughtful breakfast basket, and just so many gorgeous little touches that made it feel like a really special stay. Coquun cottage is set in one of the most idyllic and picturesque places in Australia. Annie and daughter have refurbished the old cottage to an impeccable standard. Your every need is considered. However for me the stand out features were the mountain ranges and the crystal clear Hunter River trickling past your door. Birds greet you when you arrive, cattle moo peacefully in the background and the night is filled with stars. We even saw an echidna up at Moonan Brook. Peaceful, blissful… we did not wish to leave. Oh and the oven served us up a roast of local produce (including beef) fetched from the historical Scone only 45mins away. Next time I’m staying for longer! Stunning.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Coquun Cottage and it truly exceeded our expectations. The place was squeaky clean and beautifully decorated, with a perfect cottage vibe—cozy, charming, and so thoughtfully put together. It was stocked with everything we needed and more. Annie went above and beyond by leaving us fresh brownies and Easter chocolate eggs, which was such a sweet and personal touch. There was plenty of firewood and lots of little extras to enjoy throughout our stay. Her communication and instructions were very clear and prompt, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The view from the cottage is absolutely stunning—you feel so close to nature, and the peaceful riverbank just adds to the magic. Hands down, this has been my best Airbnb experience so far. Thank you, Annie, for making it so special!
