The outdoor firepit is perfect for enjoying those cold winter nights under the stars and the veranda is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee whilst taking in the views.
Located 3.5 hours from Sydney with a beautiful 30 minute drive East of Scone, this cottage is the perfect weekend getaway. With an abundance of unique attractions close by including award winning restaurant The Cottage, boutique country stores and of course our little local pubs only a 10 minute drive away.
Coquun Cottage has a minimum 2 nights stay & is $650.00 per night.

Had a exceptional stay at the beautiful Coquun Cottage! The cottage is professionally decked out and looks exactly like the photos, feels very clean and new, in a peaceful and secluded location. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a perfect weekend getaway in the countryside. Annie is a very friendly and responsive host who always aims to make sure you have an enjoyable stay, and very generously provided a breakfast basket! Would definitely be coming back!

Absolutely loved every minute of our stay! The home itself was so incredibly beautiful with every detail thought out so well, we didn’t ever want to leave. Annie was so helpful and really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable! Magical - like stepping inside a Country Living magazine. That the cottage has been restored and decorated by someone with an appreciation of luxury and practicalities makes staying here a very special experience - and one that you want to repeat in the future. Outside the cottage,with verandas on two sides to sit in the sun or shade and appreciate the beautiful countryside, is just as wonderful. There is so much to admire about this cottage that you leave with an appreciation as to how beautiful linens in sheets, cushions, couch covers and window blinds, stunning light shades and fittings, and the most comfortable bath, create a gorgeous experience. Annie was very kind and left slices, fresh raspberries and many other goodies for us to enjoy, and offered a late check out.

Coquun Cottage is stunning. It’s the ultimate “get away from it all” luxury country cottage. It’s a gorgeous two bedroom cottage with everything you could possibly want, nestled into a gentle hillside on the upper reaches of the Hunter River. It is surrounded by rolling hills, cattle and wildlife. The styling and decor is literally out of the pages of Kinfolk and Australian Country style. All rooms are beautifully appointed / styled and fully equipped. The eat in kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm. Main bathroom has a massive soaking tub. (Plus there’s an extra loo and vanity in the laundry). Laundry is fully equipped. There’s a main living room with slow burning wood fireplace and large, comfy L shaped sofa. There’s also a bonus living room off the second bedroom which catches the afternoon sun. Deep and wide verandahs with lots of outdoor seating and large table. Lovely gardens with fire pit and tranquil views all round. This is *the* place to relax.

We absolutely loved our stay here at Coquun cottage. The house has everything you need for a wonderful stay, with generous amounts of everything in the kitchen and bathroom. The surroundings were perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of normal life. We could not recommend more, and will definitely be back.
